Chocolate Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1 half cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 third cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 half teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 half teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 half cup vegetable oil
  • 1 half cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 half cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and generously grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour in the hot water and stir gently until the batter becomes thin and glossy.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and tap lightly to remove air bubbles.
  6. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake rest for 5 minutes, then turn it out onto a plate and let it cool slightly before serving.
