Easiest Recipe for a Buttercotch Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 cups day old bread cubed
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ cup buttercotch sauce
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the bread cubes evenly into the prepared dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture evenly over the bread, making sure all pieces are well soaked.
  5. Drizzle the buttercotch sauce over the top and gently press the bread down so it absorbs the liquid.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes until the top is lightly golden and the center is set.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
