Fermented Dough Pancakes

Ingredients

  • Leftover pizza or bread dough
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda optional

Instructions

  1. Break your leftover dough into smaller pieces and mix it with the warm water, sugar, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes to rise.
  2. After the dough has fermented, add a little baking soda for a fluffier texture.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and spoon the dough into the pan, cooking each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Serve with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, or yogurt!
