Fudgy Brownies with Crackly Tops

Ingredients

  • 1 half cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 half cup cocoa powder
  • 1 half cup all purpose flour
  • 1 quarter teaspoon salt
  • 1 third cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a bowl and stir in the sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk well until the mixture becomes glossy.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix gently until a thick batter forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the top forms a light crust and the center is set.
  8. Let the brownies cool before slicing and serving.
