Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 quarter teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 quarter teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup dark rum

Instructions

  1. Place the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a heat safe mug or bowl.
  2. Pour in the hot water and stir until the butter and sugar are fully melted.
  3. Add the rum and stir gently to combine.
  4. Serve immediately while warm.
