Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Starting with a hot air fryer helps create a beautiful crust on the steak.
Pat the steaks dry using paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil, then season generously with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Place the steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for proper air circulation.
Cook according to your preferred level of doneness: Medium-Rare: 10 minutes, flipping after 5 minutes (135°F), Medium: 12 minutes, flipping after 6 minutes (145°F), Well-Done: 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through (160°F)
For the most accurate results, use a meat thermometer. Remove the steak when it's about 5°F below your desired temperature, as it will continue cooking while resting.
Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender steak.
To make the Garlic Herb Butter, while the steak rests, add the softened butter to a small bowl.
Mix in the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, and parsley. Stir until everything is well combined and smooth.
Generously spoon the garlic herb butter over the warm steaks just before serving.
