Microwave Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 half cup all purpose flour
  • 1 half cup granulated sugar
  • 1 third cup cocoa powder
  • 1 quarter teaspoon salt
  • 1 half teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 half cup milk
  • 1 quarter cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until combined.
  2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth and evenly mixed.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  4. Smooth the batter evenly in the bowl.
  5. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes, checking at 4 minutes for doneness.
  6. Let the brownies rest for 1 to 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
