These banana bars are super soft and sweet.
Turn the oven up to 350 F. Cream the butter and sugar in a big bowl until it's light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes, then beat in the eggs, bananas and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Stir that stuff into the creamed mixture just until blended.
Transfer your batter to a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake the pan in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick in and pull it out clean. Let the whole thing cool on a wire rack, then slice into bars.
