Sticky Rice Buns

Ingredients

cups
white sushi rice
2
scallions
finely chopped
2
tablespoons
sesame seeds
plus more for serving
2
teaspoons
kosher salt

teaspoon
rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
Sesame oil (for brushing
Instructions
Place rice, vinegar, salt, and 3 cups water in a saucepan. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
Stir in sesame seed and with scallions then cool.
Fill a bowl with water then wet your hands. Scoop rice and form patties with the mixture. You should get 8.
Heat a skillet or a griddle pan.
Brush each bun with sesame oil. Toast for 2-3 minutes per side.
Serve with your favorite sandwich filling and enjoy! :D
