The classic resort poolside cocktail.
- 3 limes peeled and juiced
- 1 lb strawberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tbsp white rum
- 2 tbsp lime juice
Combine the juiced limes, strawberries and sugar in a large bowl and macerate for about an hour.
Use a strainer and spatula to strain out the juices/syrup.
Add ice to a shaker, the white rum, lime juice, 1 1/2 tbsp of the strawberry syrup and shake for 12 seconds.
Strain into a glass and garnish with a strawberry and lime wedge.
