Coffee Liqueur Affogato with Chocolate Whipped Cream
A mouth-melting parfait dish perfect for your after-dinner coffee treat.
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla gelato
- 2 tbsp prepared espresso
- 2 tbsp coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
Combine the cream, powdered sugar, cocoa, and vanilla in a bowl. Beat it all with an electric mixer set to medium until stiff peaks form, about 7 to 8 minutes.
Divide the gelato between 2 small dessert cups. Drizzle them evenly with espresso and coffee liqueur and top them with the chocolate whipped cream you made.
