Plum Short Ribs
Bring a fruity taste to your favorite ribs with this easy sauce.
Ingredients
- bone-in beef short ribs 3 lbs.
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup prune juice
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pan.

Sear the ribs for 8-10 mnutes per side, or until golden brown.

Drain the fat from the pot. Now add the teriyaki, prune juice, and water.

Cover and braise in the oven for 2-3 hours.

Remove the ribs from the pan and boil the liquid until reduced.

Spoon thickened sauce over the ribs.
