The Basic Burger
A simple, home-made basic hamburger with cheese.
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 tspn pepper
- 1 tspn kosher salt
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1.5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- hamburger buns to serve
- lettuce to serve
- tomato sliced, to serve
- cheese sliced, to serve
- onions sliced, to serve
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, pepper, salt, dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Form 8 even burger patties with the meat mixture.
Heat your grill or skillet on high.
Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side depending on its thickness and how well you like your burgers cooked.
Serve the burger on lightly grilled or toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, cheese and onions.
