
Thai-Style Larb Lettuce Cups
Low carb Asian option. A great snack over a conversation or a meal.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 4 garlic cloves chopped
- 3/4 lb ground pork
- 1 tspn sugar
- 1 tspn fish sauce
- 1/2 tspn soy sauce
- 2 Thai chilies chopped
- 1/4 cup mint
- 1/4 cup Thai basil
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- 1/4 cup red onion sliced
- butter lettuce
Sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 3 Thai chilies chopped
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions

Heat the cooking oil in a pan and saute the garlic for about a minute.

Add the pork and cook until mostly browned.

Add the sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, and chilies. Saute until pork is completely cooked.

Salt & pepper to taste, add the mint, basil, cilantro and red onion. Saute until basil and mint are tender.

Scoop larb into a lettuce leaf. Drizzle with sauce. Enjoy.

In a bowl, combine the sugar, lime juice, thai chilies, fish sauce, and water. Whisk well.
