Ingredients

  • 12 oz skinless salmon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

HONEY SOY MARINADE

  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons ginger minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • cup less sodium soy sauce
  • cup honey

Instructions

  1. Seal the salmon into a sealable bag. If you don't have a bag handy, just put it in a medium bowl.

  2. Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.

  3. Pour half of your newly mixed marinade onto the salmon. We'll use the rest later.

  4. Let the marinated salmon sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.

  5. Heat oil in a medium pan. Add the marinated salmon in and dump the used marinade. Cook the salmon on one side for 2-3 minutes, then flip it and continue cooking for another minute or two.

  6. Take the salmon out of the pan and put it on a plate. To make the sauce, pour the marinade you set aside into the pan and let it reduce.

  7. Serve the salmon with the reduced sauce and a side of your favorite vegetables.
