Honey Soy Glazed Salmon
Sweet, savory, and deliciously fishy.
Servings 2
Ingredients
- 12 oz skinless salmon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
HONEY SOY MARINADE
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons ginger minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ⅓ cup less sodium soy sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
Instructions
-
Seal the salmon into a sealable bag. If you don't have a bag handy, just put it in a medium bowl.
-
Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.
-
Pour half of your newly mixed marinade onto the salmon. We'll use the rest later.
-
Let the marinated salmon sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
-
Heat oil in a medium pan. Add the marinated salmon in and dump the used marinade. Cook the salmon on one side for 2-3 minutes, then flip it and continue cooking for another minute or two.
-
Take the salmon out of the pan and put it on a plate. To make the sauce, pour the marinade you set aside into the pan and let it reduce.
-
Serve the salmon with the reduced sauce and a side of your favorite vegetables.
