Slide Down The Doughnut Milk Luge!

Doughnut Milk Luge

They tell you not to play with your food when you're a kid, but there's something about doughnuts that makes you want to have as much fun with 'em as possible. For example, let's turn a doughnut into a slide for your morning milk!

Total Time 20 minutes
Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 4 long doughnuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Sprinkes chocolate, rainbow, whatever floats your boat
  • 4 ounces milk This isn't going in the doughnut, so use whatever kind you like

Instructions

  1. Cut a long line into the top of each doughnut to make rows, kinda like a hot dog. We'll come back to those in a moment.

  2. Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl and nuke it in the microwave for 30-second intervals until it's nice and melty. Pour the melted chocolate into the rows on the doughnuts, pouring off any excess. Stick the doughnuts in the fridge for a little while so the chocolate can harden, then add the sprinkles.

  3. Here's the fun part. Pour your favorite kind of milk into 1-ounce shot glasses (four ounces of milk, four glasses). Hold a doughnut up to your mouth and tilt it diagonally upwards. Pour the milk down the center, and it'll flow right into your mouth, along with some sprinkles and chocolate for some extra sweetness.

Recipe Notes

When you run out of milk, just eat the doughnuts!
