Tilapia Parmesan
A crazy-tender cut of fish with a creamy cheese coat.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
- 2 pounds tilapia fillets
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to broil. While that's heating up, grease a broiling pan or line a regular pan with foil.
-
In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season the mixture with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix all that stuff well and set it aside.
-
Arrange the fish fillets on the prepped pan. Broil the fish a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip them over and keep broiling for another 2 to 3 minutes. Take the fillets out of the oven and cover them with the cheese mixture on the top side. Let them broil for 2 more minutes, being careful not to overcook. When the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork, you're all done.
