
Banana Bread Ice Cream Cake
Ice cream layered into delicious home baked banana bread.
Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tspn vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tspn baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream softened
- 2 cups chocolate ice cream
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

In a medium bowl, use a fork to mash the bananas.

Add the melted butter, egg, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until combined well.

Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix again until well combined.

Pour the banana bread batter into a loaf baking pan.

Bake for 50 minutes or until the banana bread is baked through.

Cool the banana bread and then take it out of the pan and slice into three equal layers horizontally.

Line the loaf baking pan with plastic wrap and place the sliced bottom layer of banana bread in the pan.

Top the bottom layer of the banana bread with the softened vanilla ice cream and spread evenly.

Place the middle layer of the banana bread on top of the vanilla ice cream.

Top the middle layer of the bread with chocolate ice cream and spread evenly.

Place the top slice of the banana bread on top and cover with the plastic wrap.

Freeze for at least one hour and serve.
