Easy Quiche

A quick and easy quiche recipe for dinners after long days.

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 50 g butter melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 50 ml whole milk
  • 50 ml single cream
  • 80 g gruyere cheese
  • 8 bacon strips cooked

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ and grease quiche or tart pan with the melted butter.

  2. Place 1 of the tortillas into the pan and press to get into the edges of the pan. Brush the top of the tortilla with melted butter and place the other tortilla over the top. Brush with a little more butter and bake for 10 minutes or until starting to turn golden brown.

  3. Quiche filling: Combine 4 eggs, milk, cream and nutmeg in a measuring cup. Whisk until fully combined.

  4. Add three quarters of the cheese and three quarters of the bacon. Whisk until fully combined.

  5. Pour the egg mixture into the baked tortilla. Top with remaining cheese and bacon. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until eggs are cooked.
