Honey Meets Garlic for Chicken

15 Minute Honey Garlic Chicken

Quick-and-tasty Asian-inspired chicken.

  • 2 tspn olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts cubed
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tspn red pepper flakes


  1. Add the olive oil into a large skillet and place over medium-high heat.

  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Remember, there will be added salt from the soy sauce later on.

  3. Cook the chicken and brown one side. About 3 to 4 minutes.

  4. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and garlic in a bowl until combined well.

  5. Mix in the honey and soy sauce mixture into the skillet and toss with the chicken. Continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked. About 4 to 5 more minutes.

  6. Garnish with green onion slices, sesame seeds and a lime wedge. Serve with steamed rice.
