Ingredients

  • Orange juice chilled
  • Champagne or sparkling wine chilled
  • Optional: Fresh orange slices or mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather the necessary ingredients and ensure the orange juice and champagne are chilled. It's essential to serve a Mimosa cold.
  2. Take a champagne flute or any tall, narrow glass you have available. The flute's shape helps preserve the bubbles and enhance the drinking experience.
  3. Pour approximately one part orange juice into the flute. The exact ratio can vary based on your taste preference, but a traditional Mimosa typically consists of equal parts champagne and orange juice. You can start with a 1:1 ratio and adjust it according to your liking.
  4. Slowly pour one part of champagne or sparkling wine into the flute, allowing it to mix gently with the orange juice. Pouring the champagne slowly helps prevent excessive foaming and preserves the carbonation.
  5. Give the drink a light stir with a bar spoon or a long cocktail stirrer to ensure the orange juice and champagne are well combined.
  6. Optional: Garnish the Mimosa with a fresh orange slice or a sprig of mint for added visual appeal and flavor.
  7. Serve the Mimosa immediately while it's still bubbly and fresh. It's best enjoyed right after preparation.
