Ingredients
- Greek yogurt or regular yogurt flavored or plain
- Honey or maple syrup for sweetness
- Fresh fruits berries, mango, kiwi, etc., chopped into small pieces
- Optional: nuts chocolate chips, granola, etc., for added texture and flavor
Instructions
Preparation:
-
Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. This will prevent the yogurt bites from sticking and make removal easier.
-
Make sure your chosen fruits are washed, peeled (if needed), and chopped into small, bite-sized pieces.
Mixing:
-
In a bowl, mix the yogurt and a sweetener like honey or maple syrup. The amount of sweetener can be adjusted according to your taste preferences.
-
If you're using flavored yogurt, you might not need as much extra sweetness.
Assembling:
-
Gently fold the chopped fruits into the yogurt mixture. At this stage, you can also add nuts, chocolate chips, or granola for added texture and flavor.
-
Ensure that the fruit pieces are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.
Creating Bites:
-
Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop small portions of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them out so they don't stick together.
Freezing:
-
Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the yogurt bites freeze for a few hours, or until they are solid.
