Make the Perfect Pina Colada at Home

A tropical favorite that never goes out of style, the piña colada brings vacation vibes straight to your kitchen. Creamy, fruity, and perfectly smooth, it’s a drink that feels like sunshine in a glass, simple to make, yet luxuriously indulgent.

Pina Colada

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup coconut cream
  • 60 ml 2 oz white rum
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Optional garnish: pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry

Instructions

Blend it all together

  1. Add the pineapple juice, coconut cream, rum, and ice to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you prefer it thicker, add a little more ice; for a lighter version, splash in extra pineapple juice.

Serve immediately

  1. Pour the drink into a chilled glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry for that classic island touch.

Make it non-alcoholic

  1. For a mocktail version, simply skip the rum. The flavour stays just as tropical and refreshing.
