Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar or simple syrup adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glasses, optional
  • Lime and orange slices for garnish optional

Instructions

  1. Rim the Glasses: If you'd like, rim the glasses with salt or sugar for an extra touch of flavor and presentation. To do this, take a lime wedge and rub it around the rim of each glass. Dip the rims into a shallow plate filled with salt or sugar. Set the glasses aside.
  2. Make the Margarita Mix: In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lime juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and agave nectar (or simple syrup). You can adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less agave nectar.
  3. Shake or Stir: Give the mixture a good stir or shake if you're using a cocktail shaker. This will ensure that all the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Prepare the Glasses: Fill the rimmed glasses with ice cubes. You can also use margarita glasses, rocks glasses, or any glass of your choice.
  5. Pour and Garnish: Pour the margarita mix over the ice in the glasses. If you like, garnish the margaritas with a slice of lime or orange.
  6. Serve: Serve your alcohol-free margaritas immediately while they're nice and cold. You can also add a few extra ice cubes to each glass if you prefer your margaritas super cold.
