Ingredients

  • 1 package 12 count of Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices of deli ham or enough to cover each roll
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese halved (or your preferred cheese)
  • ¼ cup of melted butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds optional
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the Ingredients: Layer the ham slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Then, layer the cheese over the ham. Place the top half of the rolls back on top.
  4. Make the Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Brush the Rolls: Using a pastry brush, spread the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and slice into individual sliders. Serve warm and enjoy!
