Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

The secret ingredient for these tender strands is none other than root beer!

Ingredients

  • 1 2 pound pork tenderloin
  • 1 12 fluid ounce can or bottle root beer
  • 1 18 ounce bottle barbecue sauce
  • 8 hamburger buns split and lightly toasted

Instructions

  1. Place the pork in the slow cooker and pour the root beer over it. Trust me, this'll work. 

  2. Put the cover on and let the pork cook on low until well-cooked, around 6 to 7 hours. The pork should shred easily when it's ready. You might need to adjust the time a bit depending on the size and strength of your cooker. 

  3. Drain the cooker pot and stir in the barbecue sauce. Serve between hamburger buns.
