Vegan Chocolate Cake
Delicious chocolate cake, 100% vegan.
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
- 1 cup water
Turn the oven up to 350 F. While that's heating up, lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add in the oil, vanilla, vinegar and water, and mix it all together until it's a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into the prepped pan and bake for 45 minutes. Take the pan out of the oven and let it cool before serving.
