Super-simple finger desserts. Change up the cake and icing flavors to create your own combo!
- 1 18.25 ounce package chocolate cake mix
- 1 16 ounce container prepared chocolate frosting
- 1 3 ounce bar chocolate flavored confectioners coating
Follow the directions on the cake mix box to prep it. When the cake's done and still warm, crumble it into a big bowl. Stir in the frosting until well blended.
Melt the chocolate coating in a glass bowl in the microwave. You can also melt it in a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth.
With a small scoop or melon baller, make balls of the chocolate cake mixture. Dip the balls in the melted chocolate with a toothpick or fork. Leave them on wax paper for a while so they can set.
