Turkey Taco Salad
Need a quick, balanced meal for dinner? Why, I do believe it's time for tacos.
- ½ pound uncooked ground turkey
- 1 1 ounce packet Ortega Mild Taco Meat Seasoning Mix
- ½ cup green bell peppers
- 4 cups mixed salad greens
- 2 cups tortilla chips
- ½ cup Kraft Nacho Blend Cheese w/Peppers
- ⅓ cup onions raw
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
Brown the turkey in a skillet on medium heat, about 5 to 7 minutes, then season to taste with the taco seasoning. Add in the peppers and cook and stir until pepper is tender, about 5 minutes.
Arrange the salad greens onto 2 plates and top them with tortilla chips, cheese, and onion. Spoon the cooked turkey over the each salad and top them off with salsa and sour cream.
