Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup green or red bell peppers diced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 can crescent rolls refridgerated

Instructions

  1. First, preheat the oven to 375°F. In a 10- inch skillet, mix up the beef and bell peppers. Heat 'em over medium-high heat while stirring occasionally until it's hot. Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and salt, then set the mixture aside.

  2. Separate the refrigerated dough into 4 rectangles, and place them on a clean cookie sheet. Press each to 8x5 inches, making sure to firmly press the perforations to seal.

  3. Divide the Sloppy Joes evenly between the rectangles. Bring the ends up over the filling, and press the edges with a fork to seal.

  4. Bake 'em in the oven for about 15 minutes or until they turn a nice golden brown. Immediately take them off the cookie sheet and serve while they're still warm.
