  • 1 1/2 oz mezcal or tequila
  • 3/4 oz Drambuie
  • 3 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 slice jalapeno optional
  • ice
  • 1 orange peel


  1. Add the mezcal (or tequila), Drambuie, orange bitters, and the jalapeno into a shaker. Slightly muddle the jalapeno with the spoon.

  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake for about 20 seconds.

  3. Use the orange peel to rim the cocktail glass by running it around the rim and then place in the glass. Strain the cocktail into the glass and serve.
