Malaysian-style BBQ Pork Belly (Char Siu Pork)

Sweet, sticky, and great with a big bowl of rice!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sliced Pork Belly with Skin On
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Wine
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tspn Five Spice
  • 1/2 tspn Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the pork, garlic, honey, wine, soy sauce, oyster sauce, five spice, black pepper, and sugar in a bowl and mix well, making sure to coat the pork with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  2. Place on a roasting pan and roast for 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  3. Slice into bite sized pieces and serve with steamed rice.
