Prep Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce optional

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk in a medium-sized bowl. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the fresh parsley, fresh dill, fresh chives, minced garlic, onion powder, dried dill weed, dried chives, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce (if using) to the bowl. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasonings according to your preference. You can add more herbs, garlic, or salt if desired.
  4. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a little more buttermilk to the dressing and stir until well incorporated.
  5. Transfer the ranch dressing to a jar or airtight container. Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This resting time allows the flavors to meld together and enhances the taste of the dressing.
  6. Serve the homemade ranch dressing as a dip for vegetables, drizzle it over salads, or use it as a condiment for sandwiches and wraps. It can also be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
