Ingredients

  • 3 c. heavy cream
  • 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • green, blue, and purple food coloring
  • Sprinkles for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat heavy cream until medium peaks form. You can use a hand mixer or a stand with a whisk attachment,

  2. Fold in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until everything's combined, then divide mixture among five bowls.

  3. Add a different color food coloring to each bowl and stir until combined. Your discretion on how much coloring is needed.

  4. Layer dollops of the colored mixtures in a 9"-x-5" loaf pan until you run out of the mixture.

  5. Run a knife through the mixtures to swirl the colors 3 or 4 times and then smooth the top.

  6. If you're using sprinkles, throw them on now. Put the pan in the freezer. It should take about 5 hours for the mixture to firm up.

  7. Remove the pan from the freezer and let for 5 to 10 minutes to soften, then scoop and serve. Dahlin' it's better, down where it's wetter.
