Sloppy Joe Hand Pies
Perfect, no-mess pastry pockets filled with tangy Sloppy Joes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup green or red bell peppers diced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 can crescent rolls refridgerated
Instructions
-
First, preheat the oven to 375°F. In a 10- inch skillet, mix up the beef and bell peppers. Heat 'em over medium-high heat while stirring occasionally until it's hot. Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and salt, then set the mixture aside.
-
Separate the refrigerated dough into 4 rectangles, and place them on a clean cookie sheet. Press each to 8x5 inches, making sure to firmly press the perforations to seal.
-
Divide the Sloppy Joes evenly between the rectangles. Bring the ends up over the filling, and press the edges with a fork to seal.
-
Bake 'em in the oven for about 15 minutes or until they turn a nice golden brown. Immediately take them off the cookie sheet and serve while they're still warm.
