Ingredients

  • 4 qts Water
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 1 Bag Seafood Boil Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Onions Quartered
  • 2 Whole Garlic Bulbs
  • 1 lb Small Red Potatoes
  • 1 lb Smoked Sausage Optional: Cut to 2-4 inch pieces
  • 4 Ears of Corn Optional: Cut in half
  • 2 lbs Large Shrimp

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the water, beer, seafood boil seasoning, salt, cayenne pepper, bay leaves, onions, and garlic bulbs and bring to a boil.

  2. Add the potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. Add the sausage and the corn and simmer for 8 more minutes.

  4. Add the shrimp, put on lid, turn off heat and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Drain the liquid and serve.
