A Steak Stuffed With Mushrooms, Onions, and Cheese? Yes Please!

Stuffed Steak Rolls

A delicious and succulent flank steak recipe stuffed with mushrooms, onions, and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp garlic minced
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp pepper
  • 2 lbs flank steak
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 9 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a skillet over medium heat and add the garlic, onions, mushrooms, salt, and pepper and cook for 15 minutes.

  2. Lay out the flank steak on a flat surface and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Place a layer of the mushroom mixture on top of the flank steak, then a layer of provolone cheese.

  4. Roll up the flank steak making sure the stuffing does not fall out and secure using toothpicks. Slice up the flank steak roll at 1 to 1 1/2 inch thickness.

  5. Heat a pan on medium-high heat and cook the flank steak rolls till golden brown and crusty on both sides. Then bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes.
