Artichoke Petal Bites with Lemon Garlic Aioli

The baked artichoke goes brilliantly with the slightly tart and savory aioli sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese can use vegetarian
  • 5 cups artichoke petals

Lemon Garlic Aioli

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tspn garlic minced
  • 1 tspn lemon juice
  • 1/4 tspn salt
  • 1/4 cup parsley

Instructions

  1. Combine the bread crumbs and the Parmesan cheese.

  2. Dip the artichoke petals in the butter and coat with the bread crumbs. Place on a baking tray. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Turn over and bake for another 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  3. To make the lemon garlic aioli, combine the mayo, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and parsley in a dipping bowl. Mix well.
