- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels

In a big pot on medium heat, heat up the veggie oil. When it's hot, stir in the sugar and kernels.

Put the cover on and let the popping begin! Keep shaking the pot so the sugar doesn't burn.

When the popping slows to every 2 to 3 seconds, take the pot off the heat and keep shaking it for a few minutes until the popping stops completely.

Pour the popcorn into a big bowl and let it cool off. Give it an occasional stir to keep clumps from forming.
